ALEX B. HEALY

Alex Healy is a dedicated lawyer at Sheppard & Gervais, committed to serving the diverse legal needs of clients throughout the Ottawa Valley and Renfrew County. With a practice built on rigorous research and high-quality counsel, Alex provides empathetic yet strategic advocacy across a broad spectrum of legal matters.

Earning a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University in 2014, followed by a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2019, Alex brings a distinct, well-rounded background to the firm. During his legal studies, Alex interned for two senators and was selected to participate in the 2018 Georgetown Law National Security Crisis Law Simulation (International Invitational). He subsequently completed his articling at AVIOU Law, a boutique international firm specializing in immigration and family law, before being called to the Ontario Bar in 2024.

Today, Alex assists individuals and businesses with navigating complex Canadian immigration pathways, facilitating real estate transactions, executing sound estate planning, and supporting local corporate growth. Additionally, he regularly guides clients through civil disputes, family law matters, and municipal regulatory frameworks.

As a proud member of the Renfrew County Law Association, Alex is deeply invested in the local community, delivering accessible, results-oriented legal solutions for his clients.
